Recette du jour

Lemon chicken

Preparation time : 10 minutes Cooking time : 10 - 15 minutes

Ingrédients :

350 g Chicken breast fillets, cut into strips.
25 g Ordinary flour.
25 g Butter
Juice of 1/2 a lemon.
1 glass of dry white wine.

Cooked chinese noodles to serve

Méthode :

1. Coat chicken in the flour - don't forget to add a pinch of salt and pepper to the flour.
2. Melt butter in a non stick frying pan.
3. Add the chicken and allow to take a slight colour - 5 minutes.
4. Add the white wine in one go and use it to recover any flour which is stuck to the pan - this will be the basis for the sauce.
5. Add the lemon juice and leave to simmer for about 5 - 10 minutes, the chicken should still be tender but cooked through.
* As an option you could add in 1/2 teaspoon of honey for a sweet & sour effect.

Serve immediately with either rice or stir fried noodles.
