Stop the week

Glum faces and mutinous mutterings all around this morning as it was finally acknowledged that this years Christmas "do" is going to be more of a "won't".

Consequently, clans, cliques and factions are coalescing as different people try to decide what they're going to do for a spontaneous get together ... shades of a december revolution, if y'ask me.


Idiot boy has been subdued for the last few days - he's had no reply from his tennis girly; i've said to him that she's probably gone on her winter hols and he souldn't worry.


The train drivers are still on some kind of work to rule strike, meaning that commuters have murder rather than peace to all men on their minds. This added to the fact that we're going through another cold snap, does not for a atmosphere filled with goodwill and cheer make.
