La brocante

It's been a beautiful Easter weekend so far with temperatures in the low twenties - warm enough to go out for a stroll in a not to thick jumper.
My street is having what's called over here a Brocante; it's a sort of jumble sale where people empty out their cellars and lofts the result of which make an ad-hoc open air flea market.
There's obviously a fair amount of flotsam and jetsam ...
Old guys out trying to make a few bob ...
Surprising collections of things that strike me as being almost typically french...
Although i wasn't really on the hunt for anything, i was a bit on the look out for two bashed up old dining chairs (the more battered the better).
I hung around the old-toy stalls for a while listening to the banter and the haggling.
I was struck by a little teddybear peeking out, looking all lonesome and forgotten about.
It wasn't until i got home that i saw the wooden leg to the top left of the image ...
