There's been a distinctive nip in the air these last few days with mist and fog descending onto the capital - autumn is slowly but surely taking grip and making it's presence felt.
I can't help wondering if we're not going to have a a very cold winter this year.
I did indeed manage to duck out of last nights wine tasting thing and was duly accosted by MissusBossWoman as i arrived this morning who just can't believe that a brit wouldn't want to have the opportunity of sampling some good vino ... i said to her that i'm still getting over my cold thing *cough hack cough* but next time i'll probably, maybe have a look in.
Finally, this afternoon, one of my (unusally normal and nice) trainees came in and sat down in my office.
He told me that he was looking to recruit people who were interested by different cultures (culturally sensitive), a people person, a good organiser and up for a bit of something different.
The job involves working in africain countries with exploration and logistics work.
He said that if ever the fancy took me, to give him a bell
:@)

I'm very seriously tempted, but, well, i honestly think you need to be in your mid twenties to do it
I'd very definitely've jumped at the opportunity ten years ago.
