The power of stars

In March of this year, the U.N.O asked the norwegian diplomat Charung_Gollar to create a graphic representation of the principal problems facing the world today.

He presented 8 images named 'The power of stars' and recieved a standing ovation for the simplicity of his idea.

Even if his work has no pretention, it was presented for the Nobel prize for Political marketing.





On the brazilian flag:

- In green = people living with less than 10$ per month
- In yellow = People living with less than 100$ per month
- In blue = people living with less than 1 000$ per month
- In white = people living with more than 100 000$ per month




On the burkina faso flag:

- In red = Children dying before the age of one year
- In green = Children dying before the age of three years
- In yellow = children who reach adulthood





On the columbian flag :

- In red = banana exports
- In blue = Coffee exports
- In yellow = cocaine exports




On the european flag:

- In blue = petrol consumption
- In yellow = petrol production




On The Somalian flag:

- In blue = women suffering from genital mutilations
- In white = Women not suffering from genital mutilations




On the u.s flag:

- In Red = Those in favour of the war in Iraq
- In White = Those against the war in Iraq
- In blue = People who don't know where Iraq is
