Mid week
Deep breath here ...
Interviewing-filing-interviewing-billing-interviewing-bollocking-translating .... *breathes heavily like a fifty a day smoker*
Kfuncig hell !
What a day of madness !
To cut a long story short - i'm pretty much done with company 'X' and i've managed to get someone in for his obligatory three hours of training - though wtf we can do for him in three hours, i really don't know and to be honest; i just don't care anymore *i'm mad me*
One ungreatful cow of a DRH phoned and bent my ear for a full forty minutes to complain that three or four of her employees had been put on hold - we've got people off on holiday - she didn't want to see reason, tried blackmailing me and sent me a shitty letter, by coursier, if you please, just to prove a point ( i feel like saying that we'll stop everything).
We had a visit by a head honcho today - he must've got cabin fever - who's had a brainstorm (more like a storm in a teacup if y'ask me) for next year.
He wants to create a partnership with another service provider (US) and wants us/me to trial it out.
Tonight i've been at home trying to figure out a first plan off attack : how can we/i introduce this idea to our faithful clients .. which ones would be most susceptible to participating in a trial collaboration ... how we/i could 'sell' this thing to them.
I've been on their website, looking at the history of the cie and translating it as best as i can .... i'm ok with french to english, but english to french is not my bag.
Tomorrow i'm .......getting run over by a bus, with a bit of luck

What in the WORLD is it you do for a living?
I'd stay away from buses, these people don't seem worth dying for.
I 'work' for a professional services WorldCompany type thing where i'm on the front line, trying to make nice with the people who pay my wages ;@)
