Those drug dealers like to live dangerously. Isn't the quai des orfevres nearby?
I think the Quai des Orfevres can't be too far away. I was taken aback to see shoes dangling like thet - it's too common in France.
What's the story behind flinging shoes over over telephone wires ?
Does the owner do it because s/he doesn't want them any more ?
Is it a joke ?
I remember seeing 'wag the dog' a few years ago ..
It used to be the secret way drug dealers signaled to their clients where to be found that night. Now what kind of secret is this? If I know, I assume the cops do too.
And sometimes a dangling shoe is just a dangling shoe.
So reckon i can go ther and hang around and score or get my trainers taken off me at knifepoint ... i don't feel to reassured, somehow
