Whereas, the equally chic Printemps, not to be out done, has gone for two themes :

An oriental 'thing', where we have the sexiest and most beautiful (s'true !!) shop window dummies that have ever graced this earth.

All of which wearing beautifully emroidered, intricately hand worked dresses .. plum, dark sherwood forest green, gold ... set off with some kind of new fangled tiaras that can best be described as bunches of grapes.

All of this, Maaaaaadaaames and Mesieurs to a background of.. heuuu ... minimalist (plain) curtains that reminds one of dear old departed aunt Bessie.

Well ok, there's a bit of intricately carved woodwork going on in the background .. but .. even so ..

And, but, also .... they've shoved the boat out and gone in for the absolute summum of twee.
