I've been out exploring my new neighbourhood - it really is a melting pot of cultures where french just doesn't seem to be the norm.
I hear people speaking in tongues (!!) that i really and truly don't recognise - lots of guttural 'clicks' and 'clacks', smatterings of hebrew and arabic, dutch and german ... i'm sure there's a bit of Martian thrown in for good mesure.
Apart from that, it would seem to be a joggers paradise with people running (like WTF !) around the park at all hours of the day: i went for a double you - eee - elle - kay last weekend and saw two or three ambulances that must've been giving aid and succour to a few of the over ambitous, sunday training shoe brigade.
I'm sure the park is much nicer in the summer than at the end of winter.....
