There's a saying here that the only people you'll find in Paris at this time of year are tourists and eccentrics

Hélas, this is sooo untrue : one needs to include us worker bees too

For here i 'be' then, at my desk, sifting through a ton of mails from overheated HR managers who are all in a mad rush to spend their training department's dosh before they slope off to sunny shores

To think that only a few weeks ago, i'd had this wishfull dream where i'd be able to loaf around, sitting on a sunny café tarrace, with no cares in the world ... just checking out the pretty, leggy girls passing by ... p'raps even getting hooked up with one or two of the most desperate nicest ones :'(
