Le salon du chocolate

Since sunday, Paris has been hosting the Salon du cocolate.

It's an annual event whereby professional chocolatiers from around the world give the rest of us the chance to see what they can do when pushed to the extreme limit.

There are workshops for kiddies, demonstrations of the fabrication process and finally (and most importantly) free samples for us plebs.

It's a bit ... y'know .. anoraky ... in parts, where you wonder... why go to all this the trouble just to show off.

But that being said, i think that over the course of the visit you become more and more aware of how much time is spent for the pure pleasure of working with an unusual material and just having some fun with it .

Hell yeah, i'm all for fun, me !!!!!!!!!!!
