Mid week

Paris, St Lazare, 17.45

The train drivers are revolting .. more pay, jobs for life, guaranteed pensions.

So today, we had a 50% service on trains going into Paris - at least from where i live.

On the way in this morning, we were all crammed in like sardines ... not for the faint hearted what with a quarter of all passengers sniffing, sneezing, hawking and caughing ... by the sound of the guy behind me's death rattle, i'd say he must've had terminal tuberculosis :^
Tonight, i thought i'd leave work early to drop something off for a client and hopefully make a clean break.

In the event, i got to the station only to find one train in three was running - i waited for about half an hour instead of the usual 10 minutes .. all the while more and more people were pilling into the station, tut-tutting and griping.
