Mid week
I had to give ( another) course today as we had a trainer off sick.
Consequently, my morning disappeared *plouf* and the afternoon was spent catching up on missed stuff and getting ready for my afternoon visit.
I'm really starting to dread Christmas - i'm not the only one at work who feels the same.
It sounds a bit grim and all humbuggy i know, but as i get older, i really start to understand that for us A.N.K.Y's it's just a load of old tosh - pretending to be really into it, whilst all the time just wishing that it could all be done and over with until .. pffft .. whenever.
It's all become so commercial and above all, completely devoid of all the original peace and goodwill to all men - in a word "hypocritical".
How i yearn to to go into hibernation and awake next spring ...
I'm giving a lot of thought into going to help out at what i guess would be called a 'soup kitchen'.
It's a non profitable organisation called 'Les restos du coeur' which came into being thanks to a very popular comedian (Coluche - who tragically died in 1986).
Every year, over the winter period, they aim to provide food and a minimum of cheer to people who've been forgotten and left behind, often through no fault of their own.
