After a heaving, steaming fifty minute métro ride, i spent the morning out on a gruelling visit to a new client.

By the time i got back to my office, i discovered that it'd been completely flooded - i'll have to start wearing flippers and skimpy speedo swimming trunks to work if the parisien monsoon season continues for much longer (not a pretty sight, what with my hairy un-bronzed legs )

MissusBossWoman has been laid off 'till tomorrow by her doctor.

Apparently he's given her 'things' to calm her down and to make her relax - what with her personal problems and what not.
