I really do think she was someone very special .. emblematic .. for so many reasons
She went through so much grief and strife .. her life story is just filled with so much sadness and bouts of unbridled hapiness ... it's enough to make us all want to keep on living and hoping (c'est 'ça' la vie aprés tout !!)
I just find that 'La Môme' sums up the whole period during and after the war where anything and everything was been possible
Thankfully we still have images of her when she was still at her prime
