We had a bit of a leaving do last night for people who are leaving us.
There's a very high turnover rate in the company that i work for and it's something that i always complain about.
What's the point in investing in training if people leave shortly afterwards ?
I always find it a bit sad to say goodbye to people that i've built up a good working rapport with and with whom i get on very well; it just doesn't seem to get any easier.
As is always the case, there was an 'after' event where a few of us went out for a few beers. I tend to feel responsible for making sure that every one gets home o.k. This time though, i missed the last train and had to take a taxi home.
I got in at about three thirty a.m and fifty euros the lighter, only to have to get up again less than four hours later.... d'oh!
